Chinese Spare Ribs

Ingredients


  • 3 Lbs Spare ribs (pork)
  • 1tsp Encona chilli sauce
  • 1tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp 5 spice powder
  • 1 tbsp oyster flavour sauce
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 2 tbsps blackcurrant jam
  • 1 dsp ground ginger
  • 1 dsp " garlic
  • 2-3 cubes ground coriander (frozen)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar

Method


Mix ingredients 2-11 in a bowl and spread over spare ribs.


Allow to marinate for a few hours or even overnight.


Preheat oven to maximum temperature.


Arrange spare ribs not too close to each other in oven trays and bake for 15 mins.


Turn heat down to 180 C & turn ribs.


Bake for another 30 minutes making sure they don't get charred.
