Chickpea Curry
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas / 1 can chickpeas
- 1 med. onion diced
- 3 tbsps tomato puree
- 1-2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 2 tsps coriander powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 3 tbsps veg. Oil
- Salt to taste
- 2 tsps single cream/Greek yoghurt
- Fresh chopped coriander to garnish.
Method
Heat oil in a pot, add diced onions, then crushed garlic and fry until transparent.
Add tomato paste and fry till oil starts to separate.
Now add turmeric, chilli, cumin and coriander powders.
Add cooked chickpeas and simmer for 10 mins.
Garnish with ½ tsp of Garam Masala.
